This is one of my favorites so far. It left my skin feeling awesome, as well as soothed irritated skin. I met up with some sweat bugs - that's what I call them, anyway:) - while mowing my yard the other day (even though I had used some really good, safe bug spray; they got me where I hadn't sprayed), and this soap really helped these bug bites. The combination of the aloe, tea tree, wild chaparral, wild yucca, and black willow are just so wonderful! I did attempt to try to wash my hair with it, but my hair is really thick and a little long, and it would take a lot to make a good lather, so I decided I would rather use this soap for bathing. I just finished off with my regular store brand shampoo. This soap has an amazing scent, too!
This is my ultimate favorite soap bar period! It lathers so well and can be used for everything!! Shaving, hair, skin etc. LOVE IT!! Always keep it on hand??
I was looking for a yucca shampoo bar forever and I came across a wild soap bar. I fell in love with the website and the shampoo bars instantly. When I received the yucca bar in the mail it looked just like I expected it to. I was excited and it definitely cleaned my hair. BUT it didn’t lather as much as I’d like and didn’t work with my hair as much as the Chapparal shampoo bar. So it personally wasn’t perfect for my hair but it looks and smells fantastic, very natural. Everyone should at least try a sample size because it might be perfect for them!
Tough enough to get my stinky husband squeaky clean, gentle enough to not make him break out like he does to most soaps including natural. Thank you!
I love the Yucca Root soap. Happy to find it again.
I have used natural shampoo (or just baking soda/acv) for months now. I was wanting to switch to a single bar for everything. Maybe I just haven't figured out how to use it yet, but it does not seem to get my hair clean. In fact, it leaves it feeling hard and like I stuck my head in a pile of wet sand. This is with the acv rinse. I gave it a two because I like it as a body bar. Just wishing it had worked for me.AWSB Response: We realize that natural shampoo bars are not for everyone. Thanks for giving it a try.
