This soap smells a lot like Latakia (a deeply aromatic/spicy pipe tobacco). So be forewarned this isn't a delicate ladies soap but rather a manly fragrance. Smokey undertones, great soap, fear not, the scent isn't "clingy" so it doesn't stay with you all day, though I wish it would.
I just moved from Austin, TX to Pittsburgh, PA and wanted to take some local soap with me. I searched all of the grocery stores in Austin and couldn't find exactly what I wanted so I ordered it online. After three days on the road, the soap was there waiting for me in Pittsburgh. It smelled great and was like a little piece of Texas that I was able to take with me. Thank you!
This is a good soap with a warm scent. It feels kind of textured as if it had beads for scrubbing. Cleans very well and is just wonderful to use. Like most bar soaps, the life span is not very long. I suggest keeping it in a dry spot out of the shower, or grinding it up and making it a liquid soap. Just grind it to a powder and put it in a big pot of boiling water. Let it sit overnight, return in the morning and blend to smoothen it out after it gets thick. Boom, liquid soap. Will greatly increase it's lifespan.
Love!
The Cedarwood Soap smells great and everyone in the house likes it.
Love this! My favorite fragrance!
